Stay connected, and enjoy the season—without the stress.

Why brave the snow, ice and long, quiet days alone? Our Winter Respite program offers a warm, comfortable place to stay for the season, with friendly neighbors, delicious meals and support when you need it.

During your stay, you'll have a private, furnished apartment and chef-inspired meals, with no grocery runs on icy roads. Housekeeping and maintenance are taken care of, so there's no shoveling and no furnace worries. You'll find activities, events and new friendships to brighten the season, and support with daily tasks is available whenever you need it.

It's also a wonderful way to experience life at The Village of East Harbor before making any long-term decisions.

The Dangers of Living at Home During the Winter Months:

Social Isolation
Harsh weather can keep you homebound, leading to loneliness, depression and missed opportunities for connection.

Snow Shoveling
Shoveling snow can be physically strenuous and increase the risk of falls, heart strain and injury.

Poor Nutrition
It's harder to get to the store, and cooking can be difficult, which can lead to poor diet and lower energy.

Icy Walkways
Ice and snow create serious fall risks, which can lead to fractures, hopsital visits and a loss of independence.

Commit to a Winter Stay by Nov. 15th and we will pay $500 toward moving expenses.
